Based on highly popular Japanese manga, 15 million copies sold to date, "Yowamushi Pedal" is a live action drama of battle between high school road race cycling teams aiming for the top. In season 1, Akihabara loving anime geek Sakamichi fell in love with cycling and bloomed his talent for hill climbing by experiencing First-Year Welcome Race and covering 4 days 1K indurance race. In Season 2, under the leadership of captain Kaneshiro, team mates at Sohoku compete to make Inter high school team.
